Oh dear, oh dear…
The Six Nations kicks off this weekend in what promises to be one of the tightest tournaments in recent years.
England look the team to beat but Ireland are riding on the crest of a wave following a successful November test window which saw them secure wins against New Zealand and Australia.
Of course, you can never count out the French and the Welsh either…
Ireland take on Scotland this weekend in their opening game of the Six Nations on Saturday with kick-off at 2.25pm.
Coach Joe Schmidt has named a strong Ireland team to face Scotland in Saturday’s Six Nations opener, so it should be a cracker.
Eimear Reilly from Trim, Meath is going over to the game with her husband, and the pair are both massive rugby fans with Eimear describing the Six Nations as Christmas for the couple.
The duo have their flights booked for tomorrow afternoon, and tickets for the game purchased. But they arrived down this morning to this scene…

Her dog, Minnie, had got her paws on the tickets and taken great delight in chewing them to pieces. All efforts from Eimear to piece them back together proved unsuccessful.
Thankfully, the IRFU were understanding and informed her that she’d be able to collect a second set of tickets on the day of the game in Edinburgh.
It also saved Eimear from being eternally angry at her poor little Jackapoo (Jack Russell cross with a poodle), Minnie.
But, how could you stay mad at that face?
