It’s just days since Storm Doris passed leaving some lasting effects on rural Ireland and generally causing chaos during her time on our shores.
Met Eireann have today issued two separate status yellow wind warnings which will affect most of the country.
One status yellow wind warning is in place for Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Wicklow, Offaly, Mayo and Roscommon from 6pm on Wednesday until 9am on Thursday.
The other is for Munster, Wexford and Galway which will run until 6am on Thursday.
Met Eireann have said that westerly winds will reach mean speeds of 55 to 65km/h with gusts of 90 to 110km/h this evening and at times tonight and will be worst near the coast.
