Tony Cuddihy

A man is fighting for his life on Wednesday afternoon.

Another person has been shot in Dublin as part of the ongoing feud between the Hutch and Kinahan gangs, according to reports.

The man, in his late 20s, was shot at a filling station on the N32, with Gardaí currently attending the scene.

A black car was seen leaving the scene on the Clonshaugh Road; the shooting is believed to have taken place around 1.35pm.

It is believed that the man is a senior member of the Hutch gang, which has been embroiled in a tit-for-tat feud with Christy Kinahan since the Regency Hotel shooting in February 2016.

Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses or to anyone with information to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 016664400, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
