A lightning response.
Dublin Airport reported a fire near Terminal 1 shortly after 10am on Tuesday morning.
The “small fire” broke out in Pier 3 which was then evacuated and subsequently extinguished following a stressful couple of minutes for staff.
The incident took place in an office which was away from the general public and Dublin Airport took to Twitter to issue updated reports.
In total, just over half an hour had passed from when the fire was first reported on Twitter to the announcement that business was resuming as normal.
