It follows the discovery of human remains nearby a day earlier.
Gardaí investigating the discovery of human remains on Saturday in Wicklow have confirmed that further remains have been found in the area.
These latest remains were found in an area known as Glenmacnass Waterfall, Co Wicklow on Sunday evening.
On Saturday, human remains were also found in at Military Rd, Enniskerry, Co Wicklow by a member of the public who immediately alerted Gardaí.
The two scenes are now being preserved for a Garda Forensic Examination.
An Garda Síochána are being assisted in the search by members of the Defence Forces.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing to members of the public who were in the general area of Military Rd / Laragh Co Wicklow in the recent past and who may have seen anything suspicious or unusual to contact the incident room at Bray Garda Station on 01-666 5300, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
