Gardaí have arrested two men in connection with the stabbing of a man in Co. Clare.
The fatal incident occurred in the suburbs on Kilkee in Co. Clare in the early hours of Sunday morning. Two men were later arrested and brought to Kilrush Garda Station. Both of the men who are under arrest are believed to be in their 20s.
The victim, who was 25-years-old, was rushed to Limerick University Hospital, but later died from his injuries.
None of the parties have been publicly named.
Gardaí have closed off the scene and begun a forensic examination.
