Six people, including four pedestrians, were injured as a result of the collision and one remains in a serious condition.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision at the junction of Adelaide Rd and Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin on Tuesday evening. Gardaí said on Tuesday that it was not a hit and run incident.
Five ambulances and several units of the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene after a Saab car collided with four male pedestrians at the junction in Dublin 2 at approximately 6.05pm yesterday.
The female driver of the car and one pedestrian were taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and a second male pedestrian was removed to Tallaght Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The final two pedestrians were taken to St. James Hospital and one of the casualties was subsequently removed to Beaumont Hospital in a serious condition.
