Met Eireann have issued another weather warning for all of Ireland

Get the brolly.

No one will escape the poor weather it seems…

You’d think we’d be prepared for it at this stage following the fairly miserable weather forecast for this week, but yes, once again we’re staying down the barrel of another wash out.

Met Éireann have issued another status yellow rainfall warning but this one is for the entire country.

They’ve promised that all areas will receive heavy rain until 10pm on Wednesday.

The warning was issued on Wednesday morning with the promise of further rainfall accumulations between 25mm and 40mm throughout the country.

Thursday will start dry with some sunny spells and light to moderate southerly winds, but the winds will increase fresh to strong and gusty during the morning.

Cloud will increase again from the west with outbreaks for rain and drizzle pushing into Atlantic coastal counties during the afternoon which will spread further inland by evening. However, some northern and eastern areas may stay dry until later in the evening.

Friday morning will start dry with some nice spells of autumn sunshine but it will become breezy with possibly thundery downpours in the west of country. But the rest of the country will be drier with just some scattered showers mixed with spells of sunshine.
