Here’s the weekend forecast…
If you’re planning on doing something this weekend, we recommend you plan for plenty of different scenarios as showers never look like being far away.
Saturday in Ireland looks set to be rather cloudy but with some sunny breaks in places according to Met Éireann.
It will be dry in many areas with some showery outbreaks of rain mainly in parts of north Connacht, Ulster and possibly north Leinster, and there’s also a chance of some isolated patches of drizzle in other parts of the country, especially in the morning.
Temperatures will range from 12 – 16 degrees with some moderate westerly breezes.
Saturday night will be mostly dry other than a few showers near northern coasts and the risk of a little rain near southwestern coasts for a time.
Met Éireann said it will be a, “cloudy night in many places but some clear periods over southern areas especially early in the night. Minimum temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.
As we head on to Sunday, it will be mostly dry but with a good deal of cloud, there will be some isolated showers in northern areas and some rain in the parts of the south and southwest during the morning.
Basically, while it will be dry in many areas, it will be difficult to predict whether or not you’ll be affected by some showers this weekend.
