Gardaí have confirmed that a woman has died after a road accident in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
The accident occurred at roughly 7am this morning on the M7 motorway between junction 24 and junction 23 northbound. There was only one vehicle involved in the accident.
A Garda press release has said that the woman’s age is not yet known. Her name has not been made public.
According to the report, the incident occurred when the car struck a barrier.
