A 36-year-old man was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital on Tuesday.
Gardaí have launched a homicide investigation after a man shot in Dublin on Sunday evening was pronounced dead on Tuesday afternoon.
Kenneth Finn (36), of Clare Village Apartments, Coolock, Dublin 17, was pronounced dead on Tuesday afternoon at Beaumont Hospital.
He was shot at 8.15pm on Sunday, 25 February at Moateview Gardens in Coolock.
A post-mortem examination will take place on Wednesday and will be carried out by the State Pathologist, Professor Marie Cassidy.
The homicide investigation is being led from Coolock Garda Station and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on (01) 666 4200.
Gardaí would particularly like anyone who was in the Moateview or Priorswood areas of Coolock between 7pm and 8.30pm on 25 February, to contact them.
