Michael Lanigan

The appeal was issued on the fourth anniversary of Konrad Misiak’s disappearance.

Crimestoppers and An Garda Síochána are launching an appeal for information about missing person Konrad Misiak.

Misiak was first reported missing by his housemates to Finglas Garda Station on Tuesday 25 March 2014.

From Poland, he was living in the Finglas area, Dublin 11. His housemates described him as being approximately 157cm in height, of slight build with brown fair hair. In addition, he wore glasses and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a navy jacket.

Despite the intensive efforts to locate him, he has not been seen since.

Crimestoppers and Gardaí are looking for any members of the public, in particular those members of the Polish community, to come forward with any information relating to Misiak’s disappearance.

Speaking on Sunday 25 March, Detective Inspector Des McTiernan of Blanchardstown Garda Station said: “Konrad has been missing for almost four years now.”

“He lived in the Finglas area, and had been resident in Ireland for approximately seven years. Prior to his disappearance, Konrad Misiak may have travelled to Courtown, County Wexford, however, this is unconfirmed.

“We are appealing to the public, and in particular members of Dublin’s Polish community, to come forward with any information about Konrad’s disappearance or current wherabouts. Even the smallest piece of information, which may seem insignificant, might help with the investigation.

All calls to Crimestoppers are completely anonymous and callers do not need to leave their name or address. In addition, callers can claim a reward for information which significantly helps the investigation.

Anybody with information is advised to call Crimestoppers on 1800 25 00 25.
