Four men have been arrested following an attack at a Dublin petrol station

The victim has been left in a serious condition.

Gardai have arrested four men, following an assault on a man in his 20s in Clondalkin.

The attack took place at roughly 7.10pm at a filling station on the 9th Lock Road. The injured man, who is currently in a serious condition, has been removed to Tallaght Hospital.

Gardai responded to a call about an assault and arrested four men in their 20s, in a car close to the scene.

The men are currently detained at Ronanstown and Ballyfermot Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardai are appealing for witness who might have any information to contact them at Clondalkin Garda Station at 01 6667600.
