Four hospitalised as car collides with pedestrians outside church in Dublin

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a “very serious” incident in Dublin where a collision between a vehicle and a number of pedestrians has taken place.

The incident occurred outside the grounds of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clondalkin Village, Dublin 22.

Gardaí understand that a car collided with several people near the church grounds at approximately 10.20am on Monday.

One person has since been taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Two others have been taken to James’ Street Hospital and one person has been taken to Tallaght Hospital.
