Son of a nutcracker!
Cast your mind back to last year and the decision that those cotton-headed ninny muggins’ made. You know, the one which decided against screening Elf on TV over the Christmas season.
Yep, they must have been an an angry elf because just like Eugene’s idea about a tribe of asparagus children that are self-conscious about the way their pee smells, not having the Will Ferrell classic on TV over the festive season is a terrible idea.
These executives probably smell like beef and cheese too.
Well, if these cinema screenings around Ireland aren’t enough, you’ll be entirely justified in screaming “SANTA! OH MY GOD! SANTA’S COMING! I KNOW HIM! I KNOW HIM!” at the top of your lungs because Jon Favreau’s beloved caper will be aired on ITV on 16 December.
Before you ask, the answer is no.
We’re not sitting on a throne of lies because this is actually happening.
Just remember that if you’re sitting in to watch Elf, you should really do so after stocking up on the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup.
Enjoy!
Confirmed: Elf is airing on ITV this Christmas. Sunday 16th December at 6pm. pic.twitter.com/yqd4ByFIZN
