Barcelona are without captain Carles Puyol for tonight’s clash as he is suspended, while Eric Abidal and Andres Iniesta are doubtful for Pep Guardiola’s side with leg injuries.

Barca will hope Lionel Messi can return to the form he showed against Arsenal in the quarter-finals in their bid to win back to back titles.

For Inter, Jose Mourinho has confirmed Wesley Sneijder will be risked despite a thigh injury, Goran Pendev is doubtful, Dejan Stankovic is suspended and Mario Balotelli is doubtful to get a run after his behaviour towards supporters in the first leg.

Inter have not reached the final of the competition since 1972, while Bareclona have won it twice in recent years in 2006 and 2009, defeating Arsenal and Manchester United respectively.

The sides also met in this season’s group stage, with Barcelona winning 2-0 at the Nou Camp following a scoreless draw at the San Siro.
