Munster coach Tony McGahan has selected the same fifteen players that faced Northampton in the Heineken Cup quarter final for their semi final encounter with Biarritz on Sunday.

Doug Howlett, Ian Dowling and Keith Earls have all been passed fit to play, having previously been rated as doubtful for the clash in San Sebastian.

There is one change in the 23 man squad from the Northampton game with Scott Deasy replacing Billy Holland on the bench.

McGahan said: “Doug and Ian came through Wednesday’s session well and we’ll see how they go later on in the captain’s run.

“Obviously we’re happy that both have managed to get themselves ready in time. It’s a tribute to their hard work and professionalism and also to the Munster medics and fitness staff that they are in the side.

“Players of their experience are crucial in games like this and this is a game that is going to require that and a lot more to win.”
