A man was treated for serious burn injuries after he was electrocuted while trying to recover a drone that got tangled in power lines
Firefighters and emergency services from Dún Laoghaire and Loughlinstown were called to deal with the scene.
The man received the burns when he was electrocuted while trying to retrieve a drone in a park in south Dublin.
1,000 ESB customers temporarily lost power in the Loughlinstown/Cabinteely area as a result.
Dublin Fire Brigade warned the public to “never, ever” go near power lines.
The ESB confirmed it was a 10kV line.
