In what world did the driver think this would work?
Gardaí in Limerick on Tuesday night seized a car belonging to an uninsured driver.
It’s understood the Gardaí were operating a Covid-19 checkpoint on Henry Street in the city when they stopped the car.
On inspection, Gardaí discovered the car was not insured and the driver had made a crude homemade insurance disc to try and purport the presence of valid insurance.

The car was seized and Gardaí said the driver will be receiving a “not so homemade summons.”
