Gardaí are investigating the death of a man in unexplained circumstances in Cork.
Gardaí and Emergency Services were called to the scene around 1.10am on Saturday morning following a report of an unconscious man outside a residence at Eagle Valley, in Wilton in Cork.
A man in his late 20s was discovered and taken to Cork University Hospital.
He was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem will be conducted at a later date and this will determine the course of the investigation.
The scene at Eagle Valley has been preserved for technical examination.
