Sevilla sensation Luis Fabiano is confident of full fitness for the 2010 World Cup as Brazil prepare for the tournament in South Africa.
Both Fabiano and Kaka are recovering from injury and have begun physical therapy with team doctors in Brazil since Tuesday.
Fabiano suffered an injury to his lower left thigh during the warm-up for his Spanish club’s match with Almeria in La Liga last weekend and will sit out the Copa del Rey final against Atletico Madrid tonight (Wednesday).
“Luis Fabiano and Kaka have already begun their physical therapy,” said the chief physical therapist of the Brazilian national team, Luis Rosan.
“They are at the Refiss Center in Sao Paulo. Both are complaining of a sore left thigh. Luis Fabiano has a first degree strain while Kaka is suffering from a deep tissue strain but is close to being 100 percent.”
