The armed robbery took place at a business premises.
Gardaí in Finglas have arrested one man following an armed robbery that occurred in Dublin on Monday (7 March).
At around 5pm, a lone male entered a business premises on Jamestown Road in Dublin 11 armed with a weapon and threatened the staff members.
This was before leaving the scene on foot with a sum of money.
In a follow-up search of the area, Gardaí arrested one man in his 50s and the stolen cash from the premises was located.
He was taken to Finglas Garda station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He has since been charged in relation to the incident and is due to appear at Blanchardstown District Court on Tuesday at 10.30am
Gardaí say the investigation into the armed robbery is ongoing.
