Man in his 20s dies after road crash in Tipperary

Three other people were injured in the collision.

A man has died after a road crash in Tipperary in the early hours of Saturday (2 April).

At around 12.45am, Gardaí were alerted to a single-car collision that occurred at Greenane.

The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has since been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick.

Meanwhile, two women and a man, passengers in the vehicle all aged in their 20s, were taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for their injuries.

They are understood to be non-life-threatening.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam footage, and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
