Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
A man has been hospitalised after a shooting incident in Dublin on Friday (8 April).
Gardaí are investigating the discharge of a firearm that took place at Cherrywood Grove in the Clondalkin area.
Believed to have occurred at around 5pm, a man in his 20s was later taken to Tallaght Hospital.
As of Friday night, he was undergoing treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A Garda spokesperson said no arrests have been made yet and that investigations are ongoing.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
In particular, anyone who was in the Cherrywood Grove area and surrounding roads between 5pm and 5.30pm and anyone who may have been in Corkagh Park at these times and who may have information is asked to contact Gardaí.
Any road users with camera footage are also asked to make this footage available to An Garda Síochána.
