Tyrone manager Mickey Harte seemed satisfied with his side’s performance in their Ulster SFC victory over Antrim in Casement Park yesterday.

Many GAA followers had touted Antrim as real threats to the Red Hand county and they certainly proved a point in the second-half of the match by staging a comeback and losing out by only four points in the end.

Harte, speaking to RTE Sport after the win, said that Antrim provided solid opposition and there was nothing taken for granted going into the match.

“It was a tough second half for us. We were in a good enough position at half time, and probably could have been further ahead. We had more scoring chances but maybe took the wrong option.

“It left us with a decent lead but, considering the breeze that was out there and considering that Antrim had nothing to lose in the second half, it was still a tall order and Antrim proved that to be the case we had to fight to the bitter end, hanging on by our fingernails at the end.”
