ITV made a serious blunder by not showing the final ten seconds of Nike’s amazing new advert which was screened after the Champions League final simultaneously in 32 countries and the sportswear manufacturer may now withhold a £1.5 million payment.

The three-minute long Nike ad was cut short by ITV and missed out on the all-important logo at the end.

ITV were looking forward to the massive payment for the airing of the primetime slot straight after the Champions League final on Saturday night but it is now likely that the TV station will not receive payment.

ITV spokesman James McLeod said an investigation into the cause of the mistake is underway.

“We are looking into the cause of the issue and are in close dialogue with Nike about it.”

The ad entitled ‘Write the Future’ features Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, Ronaldinho , Cristiano Ronaldo and many other world-class football stars. If you haven’t seen it yet watch it here on JOE (below).
