Investigations are ongoing.
A man has been arrested following a robbery at a commercial premises in Dublin on Tuesday (23 August).
The theft occurred in Dublin 2 shortly after 3pm yesterday.
A lone man entered the premises, demanding a sum of cash, before fleeing on foot a short time later with a large sum.
Following inquiries by Gardaí attached to the Serious Crime Unit, a man aged in his 20s was arrested Tuesday evening.
The man is currently detained in Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
