Leinster number eight Jamie Heaslip is prepared for a “battle†against the Ospreys in the Magners League title fight.
Heaslip has been in sterling form this season for the province which was acknowledged through his recent Leinster Player of the Year award.
Leinster are coming off the back of a thundering 16-6 victory over Munster in the semi-final of the competition but Heaslip is aware of the threat which the Welsh side pose.
“We have a huge test and it will be another massive battle up front,†said the Ireland international. “The Ospreys have an array of talent out wide so we will have to up our levels again.â€
Heaslip was grateful to receive an individual accolade but to win silverware with his team-mates is the focus at the moment.
“While it’s humbling and I’m extremely grateful to receive the award, I hope it won’t be the last one for this season,†he said.
Leinster take on the Ospreys in the Magners League final at the RDS Arena in Dublin on Saturday, kick-off is at 6.30pm.
