Here all of the must-watch movies coming to Irish cinemas in November

There are ELEVEN absolutely incredible looking big screen releases arriving throughout the month.

Oscar-favourites, creepy thrillers and potentially the biggest box office hit of 2022 are all hitting Irish cinemas in November!

Starting with…

THE WONDER – 2 November

Ahead of its release on Netflix on 16 November, this period drama from the writer of the Oscar-winning Room sees Florence Pugh playing a young nurse, sent to a rural village in 1862 Ireland, where she is tasked with observing a young girl who has apparently not eaten for months.

WATCHER – 4 November

Modern horror scream queen Maika Monroe (It Follows, The Guest) stars in this creepy thriller, in which she plays a wife who moves to a new city with her husband for his new job, but she becomes convinced that a man in the apartment opposite theirs has developed a fixation on her.

BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER – 11 November

Within the world of the MCU, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) has died, and his family and the nation of Wakanda are still grieving his loss. But they all must face a new threat: Namor (Tenoch Huerta), the king of an ancient underwater civilisation.

ARMAGEDDON TIME – 18 November

James Gray (Ad Astra, We Own The Night) writes and directs this movie based on his own upbringing in 1980s New York. The impressive cast includes Anne Hathaway, Jeremy Strong and Anthony Hopkins.

THE MENU – 18 November

The folk behind Succession bring this darkly comic thriller, centred around a group of rich patrons (including a couple played by Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) attend the ultra-chic restaurant of a world-renowned chef (Ralph Fiennes), who has more than a few surprises up his sleeve…

AFTERSUN – 18 November

Paul Mescal continues his very impressive reach into the stratosphere with this critically-acclaimed drama, including nominations and wins for some of the top awards at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The movie tells the story of a woman reminiscing of her childhood holiday with her father in Turkey.

CONFESS, FLETCH – 18 November

Jon Hamm takes over the role once occupied by Chevy Chase in this first instalment in the series since 1989. Here he teams up with the director of Superbad to tell a new tale around the reporter who finds himself in often hilarious circumstances.

STRANGE WORLD – 23 November

Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White, Gabrielle Union, and Lucy Liu provide voices for Disney’s new animated epic, in which a family of intergalactic explorers head to a mysterious new planet.

BONES & ALL – 23 November

Timothée Chalamet reunites with the director of Call Me By Your Name for this twisted love story about a pair of cannibalistic lovers on a road trip across America during Reagan’s reign as president.

ROALD DAHL’S MATILDA THE MUSICAL – 25 November

Can you improve upon the Danny DeVito directed version from 1996? Maybe so, as the early reviews of this musical adaptation have been phenomenal! Lashana Lynch, Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough, and Emma Thompson fill out the grown-up roles.

SHE SAID – 25 November

Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan headline this powerful drama about the journalists who helped to break the story about Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and the allegations of his involvement of decades of sexual misconduct.
