Cork senior hurling manager Denis Walsh has announced his team to face Tipperary in the Munster SHC quarter-final and includes Eoin Cadogan and Tom Kenny in his selection.

Both players have been recently hampered by injury. Cadogan, named at full-back, has recovered in time from a foot injury and Kenny, who was a major doubt due to a hamstring problem, will partner Cathal Naughton at midfield.

Cadogan’s return to defence and the inclusion of Jerry O’Connor and Niall McCarthy in attack are the three changes to side which lost to Galway in the NHL Division 1 final.

In positional switches team captain Kieran Murphy slots in at right-corner forward and will form an imposing full-forward line with Aisake O hAilpin and Pat Horgan.

Cork go to battle with Tippereary in Páirc Uí Chaoimh this Sunday. Throw-in is at 4.00pm.

Cork (SHC v Tipperary):
D Og Cusack; S O’Neill, E Cadogan, B Murphy; J Gardiner, R Curran, S Og O hAilpin; T Kenny, C Naughton; B O’Connor, J O’Connor, N McCarthy; K Murphy (Sarsfields) (capt), A O hAilpin, P Horgan.
