In football transfer news, Liverpool are considering an £8 million bid for Portuguese winger Simao, according to The Daily Star.
Rafa Benitez is aiming to alleviate his left-side midfield problems and Atelico Madrid’s 30-year-old wide man has reportedly been targeted by the Reds boss. Atletico need to free up some squad space and generate monies for new players and Simao is fancied as one of the first to leave the club.
