Of course you do. If anyone stops you, and they won’t, just tell them JOE said it was fine.
It’s an unwritten rule anyway. Everyone knows that once you spill out of the local pub five minutes before throw-in that you can still brazenly saunter down the white line without a toot of a horn. We GAA folk are powerful in numbers.
The novelty wears off if your county gets to Croker and most of the roads around the stadium are cordoned off.  No opportunity to parade in front of motorists after the match, if you’ve won, and stick the chest out.
