Mike McCarthy is a possible absentee from the Kerry side to face Cork in the Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final on Sunday.
The Kingdom’s inspirational full-back reportedly missed a training session with the panel on Monday night due to an Achilles tendon problem.
McCarthy returned to the county fold a month ago and featured in the Munster quarter-final victory against Tipperary over two weeks ago.
Kerry go head-to-head with rivals Cork at 4.00pm on Sunday in Killarney.
