Springboks centre Jean de Villiers has rejoined Super 14 side Western Province after spending one season with Munster.
The 29-year-old has opted against a two-year extension to his contract with Munster and will return to the Stormers on a one-year deal.
A statement on the Cape union’s website, www.wprugby.com, said: “Jean de Villiers rejoins WP Rugby for the balance of the 2010 season, and the 2011 season.
“CJ van der Linde will join WP Rugby after the completion of the 2010 Absa Currie Cup and will be under contract for the 2011 season.”
Prop Van der Linde has left Leinster to join the Cheetahs in the domestic Currie Cup but will follow de Villiers to Western Province in November.
