Former Aussie rules star Colm Begley will make his return to Championship football this weekend when Laois take on Meath in the Leinster SFC quarter-final.
The former St Kilda and Brisbane Lions player, set to take on the wing-back role, made his last Championship appearance way back in 2005 before heading to the AFL.
Former Glasgow Celtic triallist Paul Cahillane meanwhile will make his Championship debut for in the Croke Park clash along with fellow debutant Darren Strong.
Cahillane will start at right corner forward while Strong will fill the left half-forward slot.
