Latest figures released from online tracking firm Quantcast reveal that Google’s Android is making rapid progression in the operating system market.
Apple’s iOS operating system has a hefty market share of almost 60% but it will continue to dwindle according to the figures which show that Android now has a 19.9% share of the market.
The recent launch of the HTC Incredible on Verizon and Sprint’s HTC Evo 4G is expected to continue Google’s growth in the market.
“As we can see, in the past year Android has taken market share from all parts of the market, and noticeably so from Apple’s OS,†Quantcast said in its blog.
