The England supporter who gained access to the team’s dressing-room after Friday’s World Cup Group C encounter against Algeria will go on trial in South Africa later this week.
Pavlos Joseph expressed his displeasure with the performance of the England players in the immediate aftermath of Friday’s 0-0 draw in Cape Town.
The 32-year-old from south-east London appeared at a special World Cup court in the city at the weekend but the case was adjourned to begin this coming Friday (25 June).
Mr Joseph has been charged with trespassing and barred from attending any more World Cup games.
