Rumours of ETA terrorist threats in Valencia have disrupted Formula One team’s preparations ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.
Authorities said the armed separatist group ETA had threatened to blow up highways, but reports that at least one bomb had exploded have not yet been confirmed.
The newspaper El Publico said that the Basque separatist group may also have targeted railways.
ETA has killed over 820 people since 1968, including more than 340 civilians. Since 2002, however, yearly fatalities have fallen into single digits.
