According to stories on the front pages of some of the morning broadsheets today NAMA is not delivering on its promises so far.
“75pc of the first loans to NAMA not being paid off,†reads the Irish Independent headline, while the Irish Times runs with, “NAMA losses may amount to several hundred million Euro.â€
Only around 20% of the loans are generating any income, opposed to the 40% expectation by the Government.
Just one-quarter of the €15.3bn first tranche of loans transferred to NAMA are being repaid, the Indo reports.
