The Civil Partnership Bill passed through its final stages yesterday in the Seanad and the Irish Times is the only broadsheet to give it front page notice.

The Irish Independent sounds a warning to criminals using the Apple iPhone.
Amazingly, they may be unwittingly providing police with a wealth of information that could be used against them, according to new research.
It says in the Indo; “While police have tracked criminals by locating their position via conventional mobile phone towers, iPhones offer much more information, say experts.â€
Finally, the biggest Irish music festival of the year kicks-off today. The three-day Oxegen festival will see thousands of revellers turn up at Punchestown over the weekend, with many pitching their tents as early as yesterday morning. The Indo simply states: “Let the fun beginâ€.
