A goal from Killian Brennan gave League of Ireland champions Bohemians a 1-0 lead over Welsh side TNS in the first leg of their Champions League tie on Tuesday night.
Brennan struck midway through the second half, heading Paddy Madden’s cross to the TNS net.
The Welshmen had chances to find an away goal but Bohs survived to preserve a vital home clean sheet.
The sides meet again at Park Hall, Shropshire next Tuesday night.
