Northern Irish side Linfield held Norwegian giants Rosenborg to a 0-0 draw at Windsor Park yesterday.

Rosenborg have won 15 of the last 18 Norwegian League championships, and are one of the seeded teams in this year’s qualifying draw.

If Linfield overcome Rosenborg in the second leg, they could meet League of Ireland champs Bohemians in the third qualifying round, as they would take the Norwegian team’s seeding.

Bohemians hold a one goal lead over Welsh side T.N.S, after a 66th minute Killian Brennan winner at Dalymount Park on Tuesday.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, there were wins for Sparta Prague, Partizan Belgrade, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Swedish side AIK, and Birkirkara of Montenegro.
