TV3 have quashed rumours that Paul Galvin is set to join the presenting staff of Xpose.
Rumours had circulated that he was to take a leave of absence from his teaching position in St. Brendan’s College in Killarney to take the presenting job.
“It’s absolutely not true,” a statement from TV3 read. “We’ve heard that he’s a big fan of ‘Xpose’, but we’d much rather see Paul Galvin appearing in TV3’s GAA coverage.
“We don’t know where this story has come from – a joke gone wrong maybe.”
Galvin hinted that he would like a presenting career when he appeared on Xpose on 19 July to discuss his love of fashion.
“I love shopping, clothes and that kind of thing. I like my fashion and my music, and media is a good outlet to get involved in for that. Hopefully there will be some media opportunities for me in TV.â€
