Liverpool FC have finally completed the signing of Joe Cole after the 28-year-old passed a medical.
The England international agreed terms with the Merseyside club on Monday, before flying to Switzerland to undertake a physical examination at the club’s training ground.
He has been given the number ten shirt, and not the number seven as had previously been reported.
Cole will earn in the region of £90,000 a week.
