Martin Jol has confirmed that he won’t be joining Fulham after agreeing to stay on at Ajax Amsterdam.
It had previously been reported that Jol had agreed terms with the Cottagers, and that Ajax were refusing to let him leave.
The former Tottenham manager had been concerned with the financial situation at the Amsterdam club, and was fearing there would be a fire-sale.
Jol has been given certain financial assurances, however, and has decided not to make the move to London.
