Corinthians manager Luiz Antonio Venker Menezes has been confirmed as the new manager of the Brazil national football team.
‘Mano’ Menezes will succeed Dunga, who was axed after Brazil’s disappointing World Cup performance.
He has signed a four-year-contract, and will be in charge for the World Cup 2014, which will take place in Brazil.
The 48-year-old guided Gremio to the final of the Copa Libertadores in 2007, and was victorious in last year’s Copa do Brasil with Corinthians.
