The A-Team van has been spotted ahead of it’s London premiere tonight, photographed outside the English capital’s Dorchestor Hotel. The supercars parked beside it aren’t half-bad either.
Mood Swingometer
Today JOE has been feeling…frugal.
Here at JOE we’re pretty big fans of the iPhone, which thankfully solved the timeless question of ‘where can I find a state-of-the-art-phone that has the best tailor-madefarting application?’. Thank you iPhone and thank you iFart for your continued existence. Thus, despite the recall rumours, we’re still pretty excited about the prospect of this Friday’s iPhone 4 launch. Somewhat less excited that it may cost us upwards of €699 without a contract, but excited nonetheless.
Tonight’s Telly
Pick of the night: Jamie Bulger, TV3, 9.00pm.
Few will ever forget or forgive the tragic murder of two-year-old James Bulger, who kidnapped and subsequently murdered by two 10-year-old-boys in 1993. With the recent case of murderer Jon Venables being sent back to prison for downloading child porn, the spotlight has once more been shed on the shocking case of a murder that shook a generation. Tonight’s repeated true crime programme deals with Bulger’s grieving mother, and her desire to create a lasting memorial to her son. Not for the faint of heart but an interesting watch all the same.
Movie pick: Men In Black, TG4 10:00pm
Back when Will Smith used to release hit records to mark each cinematic release, Barry Sonnenfeld’s Men in Black stormed into cinemas in the summer of 1997 to huge success. Even today, MiB’s CGI is extremely impressive, whilst the unlikely chemistry between leads Will Smith and Tommy-Lee Jones carries this breezy sci-fi adventure through its numerous explosive set pieces unscathed. Will may have let us down with his past few releases (Hancock, Seven Pounds), but in the 1990s he could do no wrong. Well, until his first post-MiB release, Wild Wild West, that is – but let’s worry about that another day.

Celebrate like Icelandic footballers do
What the hell is this, Iceland? At least even though their country is dead broke, likes to blow volcanic ash over most of Europe, and used to be sponsored by Kerry Katona, Iceland haven’t lost their sense of humour, as you can see by the bizarre Icelandic football celebrations in our linked clip. Well played guys, although we’re slightly disturbed as to how long it took to plan which player would play each role?
