O’Mahony returns for Kerry

Jack O’Connor has made two changes to the side that defeated Limerick in the Munster Final for this weekend’s All-Ireland quarter-final against Down.

Kerry manager Jack O’Connor has made two changes to the side that defeated Limerick in the Munster Final for this weekend’s All-Ireland quarter-final against Down.

Aidan O’Mahony comes into the side at right half-back in place of the suspended Tomás Ó Sé, the first time O’Mahony has featured in the starting line-up since withdrawing from the panel for personal reasons earlier in the year.

In the other change to the starting fifteen, Michael Quirke replaces Anthony Maher at midfield.

Throw in for the clash against the Mourne County is at Croke Park on Saturday at 2pm.

Kerry (SFC v Down): Brendan Kealy; Marc Ó Sé, Tommy Griffin, Tom O’ Sullivan; Aidan O’Mahony, Mike McCarthy, Killian Young; Seamus Scanlon, Micheál Quirke; Darran O’ Sullivan, Declan O’ Sullivan, Donncha Walsh; Colm Cooper, Kieran Donaghy, Bryan Sheehan.
