Manchester United strikers Danny Wellbeck and Mame Biram Diouf are set to go out on loan according to manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Although Ferguson has not stated where exactly the players will go to, Wellbeck has been linked with a loan move to Sunderland, while reports have suggested that Diouf could be set for a move to Blackburn.
One player who won’t be leaving the club is Tom Cleverley, who delivered a series of eye-catching displays during the club’s pre-season tour of North America and impressed during a loan spell with Watford last season.
Ferguson had been considering sending the 21-year old midfielder on loan yet again this season, but his pre-season form has convinced the United boss to keep him at Old Trafford.
“He is an exceptional young player in terms of his ability to play a variety of positions,†said Ferguson. “He is such a talent, we must keep him.
“He showed at Watford that he’s a goalscorer from midfield and we need that. He has outstanding qualities.â€
