Farmers gather at Lairg auction for the great sale of lambs in Lairg, Scotland. Lairg market hosts the annual lamb sale, which is the biggest one-day livestock market in Europe, when sheep from all over the north of Scotland are bought and sold.
Concerns over the future of sheep farming in the Highlands of Scotland have been raised despite sellers getting a good price for lambs at Lairg.

All the poor students around the country will be having a sleepless night tonight ahead of tomorrow’s Leaving Cert results.
